Sean Carroll, Yacht Management:
Chandler Collins, Sales and Marketing
Chandler worked as a professional sailor for four years on a variety of vessels from J-Class yachts to Gunboats. After working as Mate/Chef aboard a Gunboat 62, Chandler began working for Gunboat Company as project manager for new builds, purchasing/logistics manager, and customer service. As Gunboat grew, Chandler shifted into Marketing and Sales Director and organized regattas and boat shows worldwide. Chandler has a passion using sailing as a vehicle to promote self-confidence, self-reliance, and a general ability to handle the life's curve balls.
Jennifer Jefferies, Office Administrator
Will is a U.S Coast Guard licensed captain (50 ton) and has 15 years sailing of experience with a concentrated interest in racing. Will is a natural teacher with four years of experience coaching youth programs. For the past year, Will has been teaching Basic Keelboat 1&2, Coastal Navigation, and Basic Cruising for Ondeck Charleston. Ondeck's Yacht Management program also uses Will's background in wooden boat building, boat restoration, and boat maintenance. Currently, Will races Lightnings and Thistles throughout North America and he competes in the top level of competitive one design sailing.
Jay has been sailing since he was 8 and has spent the last five years logging over 50,000 miles. Jay has a US Coast Guard 100 ton Masters License with sailing endorsement. Jay is certified to teach US Sailing Certified courses through Coastal Navigation and Ocean Passage Making. Jay has a great time sailing in Y Flyer Junior National Championships, Charleston to Bermuda Races, several trips to the Caribbean, Abacos Race Week, and he serves as Commodore of Charleston Ocean Racing Association.
Karen teaches everything up through Coastal Navigation. When not sailing for Ondeck, Karen works as the First Mate and Engineer onboard St. George's School prestigious Semester at Sea Program. Karen is currently working for her US Coast Guard 500 ton Master License.
In July of 2011, Neil completed a five year circumnavigation with his family on their C&C Custom 43 foot sailboat. He has a US Coast Guard six pack license and teaches Introduction to Sailing and US Sailing Basic Keelboat at Ondeck. Neil also delivers sailboats professionally as both captain or crew member.
