Women's Programs
Our women's program is dedicated to teaching groups women of all ages how to sail. Sailing in a single sex environment offers a low-stress, supportive and interactive environment for learning. In this program, we enjoy helping one another achieve high levels of competence in a supportive and noncompetitive setting.
Moreover, sailing amongst a group of women can be very empowering for women who are reluctant to take charge.
Our Women's Sailing Classes starts with Basic Keelboat 1 & 2 and can go further onto Basic Cruising and beyond.
"Karen is an OUTSTANDING instructor. She is very PERSONABLE and quickly assesses how each individual in the class best learns. She is EXTREMELY PATIENT which I appreciate greatly."

"...after the first 3 days I felt totally accomplished. Shelly treated us all equally, even the most inexperienced of us! She was patient, had a thorough understanding of the skills and was able to communicate clearly until we were satisfied we understood. Wonderful! Marvelous! I am Tired but Fulfilled!"
Caroline F, Columbia, SC
This is a fun program that begins with the Basic Keelboat(hyperlink) course and includes the opportunity to participate in OnDeck Charleston women's team in this summer's CORA Wednesday night race series.
