The Ondeck Charleston Bermuda Race
Ondeck US, in partnership with the South Carolina Maritime Foundation (SCMF) and the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club (RBYC), is pleased to announce May 21, 2011 as the official start of the biennial Charleston Bermuda Race. Yachtsmen from all ports are invited to take part in this sailboat event and embrace the challenge of the 777 mile course from Charleston Harbor to Bermuda.
Started during the 1990s, this race promises to carry on the tradition that leads sailors from the cobblestone streets and picturesque waterfront of Charleston Harbor to the beautiful Atlantic islandscape of Bermuda.
Ondeck has recently established operations in the United States with the opening of its first US base in Charleston, South Carolina and is poised to move ahead with a long term commitment to developing a well rounded sailing operation.
