Recognized for years as the most “polite” city in the country, Charleston is rich in southern hospitality, history, natural beauty, beautiful islands and scenic beaches. The area has wonderful sailing waters with a huge protected harbor for learning, practice and refining your racing skills. A short sail takes you through the jetties to open ocean sailing and plenty of interesting cruising locations only a short distance away.

The Ondeck Charleston Sailing Center caters to EVERYONE interested in sailing. Newcomers will find a complete sailing school with first class instructors providing a full range of U.S. Sailing Certification Courses from basic Keelboat through Ocean Passage Making.
Experienced sailors will find advanced courses designed to expand ones sailing horizons. Racing sailors will find specialized courses on the finer aspects of racing from advanced sail trim to tactics and crew teamwork.
All classes are US Sailing Certified.
Ondeck also offers a full line of cruising and racing sailboats of various lengths for vacation, cruising, and racing charters.
Ondeck is known worldwide for hosting outstanding corporate and teambuilding events. Our venue in Charleston is provides the perfect mix of “adventure travel” and a beautiful location. Our local staff is highly experienced in building custom programs to meet your company’s special requirements.
Charleston is also one of the largest regatta locations on the East Coast of the United States.
